Ashish Kamdar

Ashish Kamdar is a Director in Risk Advisory Services at BDO Oman, with more than 21 years of experience delivering assurance and consulting services to public and private sector organisations across a wide range of industries.

He holds the professional credentials of ACA (ICAI), CISA (ISACA) and CFE (ACFE), and has extensive expertise in risk management, information security, fraud prevention and detection, internal audit and corporate governance.

Ashish leads and supervises engagements from strategy development through to execution, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes, meeting client expectations and maintaining trusted client relationships. His experience includes risk-based internal audits, information security and general controls audits, fraud investigations and other agreed-upon procedures.

He has worked with clients across sectors including manufacturing, oil and gas, edible oils, investment, real estate, construction, food and beverage, ceramics, hospitality and tourism and packaging. His technology and systems experience includes auditing and working with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX and Tally.

Ashish has also evaluated boards of directors and audit committees of public sector companies in Oman in accordance with the Code of Corporate Governance and has delivered related training to directors.
